A warm welcome to the Jean Duncan web site, dedicated to simply <p>
breathtaking portraits, landscapes and traditional Chinese art. I <p>
specialise in portrait paintings in oil, acrylic and pencil and paint child <p>
portraits, adult portraits and pet portraits. Many portraits are often
produced from a photograph which can be posted or e-mailed.
I also offer a truly exclusive and discrete bespoke service, where
portraits are produced during sittings. The results are both stunning and
extremely distinctive. Many pieces have been bought by collectors.
I also paint beautiful landscape paintings, some of the stunning
Pembrokeshire coastline near to Tenby, where I live. My traditional
Chinese artwork is both unusual and popular and makes for a
perfect gift. Please don’t worry if a painting or pencil sketch you
particularly appreciate is sold, most work is commission based and many
pieces are available as signed limited edition prints. If you feel inspired
to try painting yourself, then I also take art classes.

Portrait Paintings <p>
For truly exclusive and bespoke portrait paintings, I offer special portrait painting commissions.
The portrait painting is produced with complete discretion, and is painted from a number of sittings
that capture the subject's character more fully. The results are stunning and distinctive. Such portrait paintings have
been universally admired – by both the recipient and by other portrait artists. In the words of one “Jean Duncan paints truly
magnificent portraits”. Portrait paintings are typically produced up to 40” in height, however please contact me to discuss
your portrait requirements.

Please note that prices quoted for paintings and artwork do not include postage and packaging, please also be
assured that packaging will not reveal the content (useful if the purchase is for a gift!)
Chinese Art and Landscape Paintings
The procedure for placing Chinese Art and Landscape painting commissions is in essence identical to that
detailed for portrait paintings above, prices will be quoted following discussion. Please note that traditional
Chinese art scenes can be produced for almost any occasion, in either pen and ink or watercolour.

<h2>Jean Duncan Portrait Artist Art Lesson Details </h2>
Jean Duncan art lessons concentrate on developing the individual's competence in the media of oil, acrylic, pencil and charcoal.
One to one tuition is provided in the South Wales area of the United Kingdom. Group art lessons may also be arranged<p>
I have worked extensively with children but I am delighted to teach art enthusiasts of any age. <p>
Those who have had lessons to date have commented on their enjoyment of the experience - this is very important to me<p>

Individual Lessons are priced at £10 per hour, group art lesson rates are by negotiation. <p>
