Painting Purchases and General Commissions

To Commission an Adult, Child or Pet Portrait

Arranging a portrait commission is extremely straight forward. We believe the quality of portraiture

to be quite simply of the highest available, resulting in an exquisite piece to be passed down to

future generations. Work is loving created over periods of several weeks.

supply contact details or when convenient phone 00 44 (0)1834 843531 to discuss your

requirements. I will select the photograph I think will make the best portrait and contact you to

ensure you are happy. Portraiture is also created entirely through sittings, please click on the

special commissions option for more information.

I send scans throughout the commission to ensure you are entirely happy and a final sitting is normal

to perfect features.

Notes:

1) Backgrounds may be plain, or more detailed to reflect character or locations of sentiment

2) Paintings are normally produced on either oak panels or stretched fine canvas

using either oil or acrylic paint. Work in pencil is also undertaken

3) Portraiture is frequently produced to sizes 14x18", 16x20", 20x24" and 25x30", although many

other sizes of commission are undertaken

Chinese Art and Landscapes

The procedure for placing Chinese Art and Landscape commissions is in essence identical to that

detailed for portraits above, prices will be quoted following discussion. Please note that traditional

Chinese art scenes can be produced for almost any occasion, in either pen and ink or watercolour.

Please note cheques must be made payable to Qin Duncan. Please write the title of the piece you

wish to purchase on the back of the cheque.
